Wheatfield, IN: Class of 2023 Caden Vanderhere from Kankakee Valley High School is a versatile and multi-talented baseball player with a passion for the game. Standing at 6’0” weighing in at 230 lbs, Caden is a force to be reckoned with on the mound and behind the plate. With his glaringly strong arm, Caden is a dominant pitcher and a valuable asset to his club team, Southlake Sabotage, and his school team, the Kankakee Valley Kougars. He also displays his quick reflexes and utility when he steps in at catcher as a secondary position.

Caden’s pitching stats are truly impressive. In 50 innings pitched, he has recorded 64 strikeouts, 26 walks, and a 4.0 ERA. His top velocity is a blazing 86 mph, making him a formidable opponent for any batter. Caden’s natural power and sound mechanics make him a top prospect at the next level.
