Hun Class of 2023 star Aidan Casuccio commits to West Point

Contact@GoMVB.com Princeton, NJ: Hun School star defensive end/tight end Aidan Casuccio was a key part of the Raiders’ second-straight 9-0 season until a broken bone ended his season early.

But that injury is no big deal for the 6-4, 230-pound Class of 2023 star: he has recently made his commitment to join a host of other players on Todd Smith’s roster at the Division 1 level.

Casuccio has made his commitment to become a student-athlete at the United States Military Academy at West Point.

To get into West Point, you have to be a superstar in the classroom, and Casuccio is just that: he had a 3.74 GPA and a 1300 SAT score coming into his senior year, and his GPA should continue to rise in the rigorous Hun academic program. Of course, the senior is also a star on the football field and has helped the Raiders go 18-0 in 2021 and 2022.

Once his injury is fully healed, Casuccio will be right back in the best strength and conditioning program in the country and should be able to continue getting faster and stronger before he leaves for West Point.

This is what coaches said about the player before the 2022 season:

“Casuccio is already such a good weapon, and he now gets added to all of the other ones Hun and Marco Lainez have for 2022. This kid is going to get orders of magnitude better in this system in just one year and will get so much stronger and quicker as well.
“He really could be a breakout player, and I would expect many college programs to start jumping at the chance to sign him for 2023.”

And here is what one coach had to say after watching him on the field this season:

“There is always a chance, when you are surrounded by so much D1 talent, that a player can maybe not stand out. But Casuccio looked even more impressive in 2022 than he did in 2021: the injury cut his season a little short, but he was so impressive this year. He is going to do very well on and off the field at Army.”
