Howell QB/WR Jack Gartenstein Has D1 Interest Heading into Senior Year

October 3, 2022
Press Contact:

Howell, NJ: When you look at the list of schools that have expressed an interest, or invited him to camp, over the last couple seasons, you will know that this is a pivotal fall for Howell rising senior Jack Gartenstein.

Gartenstein is one of the senior leaders in the program that are looking to change that trajectory in their final year on campus and get the Rebels back on the upward trend.

He is a big player: 6-3, 225-pounds, and has been getting bigger in the offseason strength and conditioning program. Just where he is going to prove most effective in 2022 for Howell is still up for debate, but Gartenstein will always do what is best to help the team win.

Off the field, the rising senior has a 3.3 GPA, and that number should be closer to 3.5 by the time he graduates.

Here is a scouting report on Gartenstein:

“When you see him, you can tell he has some size. He is one of those players who looks 7-feet tall out there in the warm up line: he just has that presence. I don’t know if he is going to be able to cause more havoc under center or as a wide out, but I think he can be a weapon at the next level as a receiver.

“I am very interested to see what he can do this year.”
