Garden State Ducks Shortstop Romeo Cabrera Already Making a Big Name For Himself

Garden State Ducks SS Romeo Cabrera is a perfect example of the latter.

He is already making a name for himself, and has coaches watching. Here is a scouting report on Cabrera:

“You can see what the coaches think about him with all the awards. He is so slick at shortstop: he is always the best player on the field defensively, and that is something that coaches recognize. He has a high baseball IQ, and is always in the right spot. Cabrera is only going into his ninth grade year, and has so much time to improve even more. I think he will help Parsippany this year as a freshman.

“The other stuff is going to come as he grows into his frame: the power, the extra base hits, stuff like that. But right now, he is going to be looked at just because of how good he is at the toughest position there is.”
