Class of 2023 RB Jovanny Brown Signs NIL Endorsement Deal With Sayers Shoe Shop

Contact@GoMVB.com Dix Hills, NY: How good has Jovanny Brown been over the last couple of seasons for the Half Hollows Hills East football team?

Well, Brown picked up All-County honors in 2021 after a huge season, and he is hoping to earn individual honors again in 2022. But more importantly, Brown wants to lead the HHH East team back to the playoffs, and maybe win a New York title.

Because of his hard work on and off the field over the last couple years, Brown has also just signed his first Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) offer with Sayers Shoe Shop, which is a pretty big deal for the running back.

While the team started 2-3, Brown is hoping to turn that around in the coming weeks with some big days out of the backfield. Brown also plays in the defensive backfield as well, and has been a pivotal player in the defensive improvement this year from Half Hollows Hills East.

Off the field, Brown has a 3.2 GPA, and has also worked hard in the strength and conditioning program to increase his speed and explosiveness.

“First of all, I think it is great that Jovanny picked up the NIL deal. It just shows what can happen if you apply yourself on and off the field. He had a very big 2021 season. He sees the field very well on both sides of the ball. He has a good read in the backfield about when he should cut back into a hole that just opened for a split second, or when he should just power forward and take the extra few yards and help move the chains. I think he is a pretty good defensive player as well: he is so quick once he makes a decision to go.

“Jovanny is a player to watch heading forward this season, and as he heads off to college next fall. He is one of those players that is going to be able to help a program out in so many ways.”
